Business automation. Built for you.

Turn messy processes into seamless workflows.

Still juggling forms, emails, spreadsheets and endless follow-ups? We turn your everyday business processes into one streamlined digital journey—designed and built around the way you work.

Sound familiar?

Five different tools. One business process.

An application comes in through a form. Documents arrive by email. Someone follows up on WhatsApp. A manager phones for an update. A spreadsheet tries to keep everyone on the same page.

The problem isn't the tools. It's the manual work connecting them.

What we build

Two ways to transform how your business works.

We start with your existing procedures, then design the right solution. You don't need to figure out which technology to use—we handle that.

Workflow automation

Turn repetitive processes into structured digital journeys that guide people, apply business rules, collect information and pass the right outcomes to your team.

Tailored business systems

When automation alone isn't enough, we build purpose-designed operational software around your processes—giving your team one place to manage records, decisions and ongoing work.

Document signing & verification

More than a signature. Confidence in every document.

Signing shouldn't be another disconnected task. Jill guides the entire journey—from capturing information and collecting signatures to producing a cryptographically protected PDF with supporting audit evidence.

A selfie or location is captured only when the relevant workflow requires it. A selfie is additional evidence, not proof of identity on its own.

Where extra assurance matters

Optional verification when your process calls for it.

Some workflows need more than a signature. Jill can be configured to collect additional signing evidence, and tailored solutions can integrate identity-verification services when required.

SA ID and photo comparisons, facial matching and liveness services are integration options—not automatic features of every Jill workflow.

Contact Jill
Do we need to build our own workflows?

No. Our core service is to design, build and implement the automation for you. We work from your existing SOPs and procedures.

Do we need to replace our existing software?

Not necessarily. Some solutions integrate with the systems you already use; others call for a tailored management application. We recommend the approach that fits your needs.

Can we sign and verify documents?

Yes. Jill supports guided electronic signing, protected PDF documents and document-integrity verification. Use the verification tool to check a document against Jill's stored fingerprint.

How much does a tailored solution cost?

That depends on the processes, integrations, signing requirements and ongoing support involved. We discuss your needs, define the scope and provide a suitable proposal.

Refund policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy applies to payments made for Jill subscriptions, usage-based outcomes and separately quoted services. Nothing in this policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or another applicable law.

1. When a refund may be approved

We will consider a full or partial refund where:

  • the same payment was processed more than once;
  • the amount charged differs from the amount agreed or displayed;
  • a paid service was not activated or supplied within the agreed period and we cannot resolve the delay within a reasonable time;
  • a material fault prevents the paid service from being used and we cannot repair, replace or otherwise remedy it within a reasonable time;
  • a payment was unauthorised, subject to reasonable verification and the payment provider’s investigation process; or
  • applicable law gives the customer a cancellation, cooling-off or refund right.

2. Charges that are normally not refundable

Subject to applicable law, refunds are normally not provided for:

  • a monthly subscription period that has already started and during which the workspace or included allowance was available for use;
  • a completed Information Outcome or Signed Outcome that was successfully produced;
  • unused outcomes included in a monthly allowance, because the allowance resets monthly and does not roll over;
  • custom integration, PDF preparation, onboarding or other professional work already completed;
  • verification, messaging, storage or other third-party costs already incurred for the customer; or
  • change-of-mind requests after digital services have been activated or performed, except where a statutory right applies.

3. How to request a refund

Email hello@jill.chat with the account or business name, payment date, amount, Paystack transaction reference or invoice number, and the reason for the request. Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after identifying the issue.

We may request information needed to verify the payment and investigate the service history. We aim to acknowledge a complete request within two business days and provide a decision within seven business days. Complex or disputed transactions may take longer.

4. Approved refunds

An approved refund will normally be returned to the original payment method. The time taken for the funds to reflect depends on Paystack, the card network and the customer’s bank. We do not control bank processing times. Where only part of a service remains unperformed, a fair partial refund may be offered.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback so we can investigate and try to resolve the issue promptly. This does not remove any lawful right to dispute a transaction with a bank or payment provider.

Cancellation policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. Cancelling a monthly subscription

A customer may cancel a month-to-month Jill subscription at any time by using the cancellation option in the account, where available, or by emailing hello@jill.chat. Include the workspace or business name and the authorised account contact.

Unless a statutory right requires otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The workspace remains available until that date, and no further monthly subscription payment will be collected after cancellation becomes effective.

2. Usage and other charges

All completed outcomes, third-party charges and separately authorised work incurred before the effective cancellation date remain payable. Cancelling a subscription does not reverse a completed outcome or work already performed.

3. Cooling-off and other statutory cancellation rights

Where South African consumer law gives a customer a non-waivable cooling-off or cancellation right, that right applies. The availability and period of a statutory right can depend on the type of customer, how the agreement was concluded, whether performance has begun and the nature of the service.

4. Data after cancellation

Before cancellation takes effect, customers should export any records they need. After the service ends, we may retain account, billing, audit and workflow records for a limited period where required for legal, security, backup, dispute-resolution or contractual purposes. Data is then deleted or de-identified in accordance with our retention practices and the customer agreement.

5. Suspension or cancellation by us

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, unlawful use, security risk, material breach or conduct that could harm Jill, other customers or third parties. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.

Terms of service

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These Terms of Service form an agreement between the customer and Marquis Information Services (Pty) Ltd for access to Jill, Jill CRM, related workflow services and any separately agreed implementation services. By creating an account, accepting a quotation, authorising payment or using the service, the customer agrees to these terms.

1. The service

Jill provides configurable guided conversations that can collect information and media, produce completed outcomes, support document signing and create or update records in Jill CRM. Features may include links, reminders, workflow management, reports, integrations, verification services and audit records.

2. Accounts and authority

The person opening or administering an account confirms that they are authorised to act for the customer. Customers must provide accurate information, keep login details secure, manage user permissions and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.

3. Pricing, billing and payment

Prices are displayed in South African rand. The standard monthly fee and outcome charges appear in the Pricing section of this website. The monthly subscription is paid in advance and includes the stated monthly allowance. Additional and higher-value completed outcomes are charged at the applicable rate. Optional services, third-party checks, messaging, document preparation and custom integrations are priced separately where required.

Usage is measured from successfully completed outcomes recorded by the platform. Abandoned or unfinished workflows are not counted as completed outcomes. Customers authorise recurring subscription payments and authorised usage charges according to the selected plan or written quotation. We may suspend access after a failed or overdue payment following reasonable notice.

Where Paystack is offered as the payment method, Paystack securely processes the transaction. Jill does not receive or store the customer’s full card details. Any applicable tax will be shown on the invoice or payment record.

4. Customer workflows, content and instructions

The customer is responsible for the workflows, questions, documents, messages, decisions and instructions it configures or asks us to configure. The customer must ensure that it has a lawful basis and all required notices, permissions and consents to collect, use, share and retain information from workflow participants.

Jill may help guide a process or generate structured output, but it does not replace legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. The customer remains responsible for reviewing its workflow, deciding whether an outcome is suitable for its purpose and obtaining professional advice where needed.

5. Electronic signatures and evidence

Signed Outcomes may capture signatures, dates, device information, network information, media and audit evidence. The customer is responsible for determining whether electronic signing is appropriate for its document and transaction, identifying signatories, obtaining required consent and meeting any legal formality that applies. We do not warrant that electronic signing is suitable for every document or jurisdiction.

6. Third-party services

Jill may connect to payment providers, communication providers, hosting services, verification providers and customer-selected integrations. Those services may be subject to separate terms, availability and fees. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent acts or service interruption, but we will reasonably assist with issues affecting a Jill integration.

7. Availability, changes and support

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Planned maintenance, internet failures, third-party outages and events outside reasonable control may affect access. We may improve, replace or discontinue features, provided that we do not materially reduce a paid core service without reasonable notice or an appropriate remedy.

8. Intellectual property

Jill, its software, design, brand, documentation and underlying technology remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors. The customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its internal business purposes during the subscription.

The customer retains ownership of its own content and data. The customer gives us the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, back up and display that content in order to provide, secure and support the service.

9. Confidentiality and security

Each party must protect the other party’s confidential information and use it only for the agreement. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. No internet-based service is completely risk free, and customers must also use appropriate account controls, devices and internal procedures.

10. Suspension and termination

Either party may end the service in accordance with the Cancellation Policy or an agreed quotation. We may suspend or terminate for material breach, non-payment, unlawful use or serious security risk. Terms that by their nature should continue—such as payment obligations, confidentiality, intellectual property, liability and dispute provisions—survive termination.

11. Warranties and liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, implied warranties not expressly stated are excluded. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings, except where such limitation is not lawful.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by the customer for the affected service during the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith by contacting hello@jill.chat. A customer retains any right to approach a court, regulator, ombud or consumer body that has jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect service, legal or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated reasonably in advance where practicable. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, but changes do not remove accrued or non-waivable rights.

Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Marquis Information Services (Pty) Ltd processes personal information in connection with Jill, Jill CRM, this website and related support. We aim to process personal information lawfully and responsibly in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. Information we may process

  • account, identity and contact details, such as name, business name, email address, telephone number and user role;
  • billing and transaction details, including invoice information, payment status and payment references, but not full card details processed by Paystack;
  • workflow content supplied by customers or participants, including answers, documents, photos, videos, signatures and other uploaded media;
  • technical and audit information, such as date and time, IP address, browser or device details, access logs, workflow status and signing evidence;
  • communications, support requests, demo enquiries and feedback; and
  • website usage information collected through essential storage, logs or analytics where enabled.

2. Why we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, run workflows, create outcomes and audit records, process payments, communicate with customers, provide support, prevent fraud and misuse, improve the platform, keep legally required records and comply with lawful requests.

3. Customer data and our role

For workflow information processed on a customer’s instructions, the customer will generally determine why and how the information is used and acts as the responsible party. We generally act as the operator providing the platform. The customer is responsible for its privacy notices, lawful basis, participant requests, retention instructions and any special or children’s personal information it chooses to process.

For account administration, billing, security, website enquiries and our own legal obligations, we may act as the responsible party.

4. Sharing and service providers

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with authorised customer users, Paystack and other payment participants, hosting and infrastructure providers, communication providers, verification providers, professional advisers, support providers, customer-selected integrations and authorities where legally required. Providers are expected to protect information and use it only for the relevant service.

5. Cross-border processing

Some providers or integrations may process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use recipients, contracts or safeguards that support protection consistent with POPIA and the sensitivity of the information.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the service, the customer’s instructions, security, backup, billing, audit, legal or dispute-resolution purposes. Retention periods vary by record type and contract. Information is deleted, securely destroyed or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to lawful retention obligations and backup cycles.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Customers must use strong passwords, appropriate access permissions and secure devices, and must notify us promptly of suspected compromise.

8. Your rights

Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, a person may ask whether we hold their personal information, request access or correction, object to certain processing, request deletion where appropriate, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain about our handling of information. Workflow participants may first need to contact the customer that requested the workflow because that customer generally controls the information.

Privacy requests may be sent to hello@jill.chat. A person may also lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator through its official website at inforegulator.org.za.

9. Cookies and analytics

This website may use essential browser storage or cookies needed for security and functionality, and limited analytics to understand aggregate website use. Where consent is legally required for non-essential technologies, we will request it. Browser settings can be used to limit cookies, although some features may then not work correctly.

10. Children

Jill is a business platform and is not directed to children for their independent use. A customer that uses Jill to process a child’s information must ensure that it has the required authority, lawful basis, safeguards and notices.

11. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or law changes. The current version and effective date will remain available on this website.

Service delivery and fulfilment policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. Digital service

Jill is supplied electronically. No physical product is shipped. Access is provided through a web-based workspace, secure workflow links and related digital outputs.

2. Activation

Subscription activation begins after successful payment, required account verification and receipt of the information needed to configure the workspace. Standard access is normally activated promptly, while tailored workflows, document preparation and integrations follow the scope and timeline agreed with the customer.

3. Workflow fulfilment

A digital outcome is fulfilled when the recipient successfully completes the configured workflow and Jill records or produces the intended result. Depending on the workflow, this may include captured information, uploaded media, a signed document, audit evidence, a verification result or a CRM Job.

4. Delays or access problems

Delivery may be affected by incomplete onboarding information, customer approvals, recipient action, internet connectivity, third-party services or a security review. Customers should report access or fulfilment problems to hello@jill.chat. We will investigate and provide a remedy appropriate to the issue, which may include re-performance, correction, account credit or refund where required by the Refund Policy or law.

5. Confirmation and records

Payment confirmation is provided by the payment provider or invoice process. Service activity and completed outcomes are recorded in the Jill workspace and may also be reflected in usage or billing records.

Acceptable use policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Customers and users must use Jill lawfully, responsibly and in a way that respects the rights and safety of others.

Prohibited use

You may not use Jill to:

  • break the law, facilitate fraud, impersonation, harassment, abuse, exploitation or deceptive conduct;
  • collect, share or retain personal information without an appropriate lawful basis, notice, authority or consent;
  • send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or misleading requests;
  • upload malware, harmful code or content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • attempt to bypass security, access another customer’s data, probe the service without permission or disrupt the platform;
  • use signatures, identity information or verification results to misrepresent a person’s authority or agreement;
  • make fully automated high-impact decisions about a person without appropriate human oversight and legal safeguards; or
  • use the service for a prohibited industry, transaction or activity under applicable law, payment-provider rules or a written Jill restriction.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected misuse, restrict a workflow, preserve relevant records, suspend access or terminate an account. We may report conduct or disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and service integrity. Where appropriate, we will first ask the customer to correct the problem.
